Studio spaces have now been assigned and I can start to consider the space I will be exhibiting in for the end of year show. Although I have not made the model to exact scale, it helps to have the floor plan and all the individual pieces cut out I want to exhibit. It demonstrates how much I have and may need to consider editing what I show. I can plan for power supply and understand where all the fixtures and fittings are so I can work the display with these elements in mind. This simple exercise proves to be very informative and allows me to focus the mind and not be overwhelmed when I start to install. I can now play around with the positioning of items and organise any other final figures I need to hang the work.
