Seeing my studio space change over the last few months has been encouraging to see in how I have approached my work. This gained momentum through the silent crits and as I continued to develop my work.

Most of my time has been spent in the print studio which meant my work was not always visible in the studio. The crits were a great marker in my project development to evaluate my work and present the various components surfacing. I treated these opportunities along with my test exhibition to create mini exhibits which would ultimately inform how my work evolved and would be displayed in my degree show.

Reflecting on my test exhibition and how this has evolved from my group crits is a rewarding experience. The work looks much more composed, where I am being far more refined in my approach and exhibited fewer works that relate and form a cohesive display. All the work has been removed from the gallery wall and occupies the main floor space. My work is becoming more installation focused with the above pictured unconventional triptych.

As I continued to make more work, I took the time to install and rotate my work in the studio space I order to take the time to observe my work. This has proved vitally important as makes me consider ways to display and configure my work.
